Michael Farrier

Michael Farrier has three years of professional work experience. In 2022, they joined TecAce Software Ltd. as a Software Engineer. From 2019 to 2022, they were employed at Fast Enterprises, LLC as a Software Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for developing a process that upgraded a legacy security subsystem in order to get 400+ users logged in with the correct security permissions on the day of project rollout without fail. Michael also consulted with 20+ outside subject matter experts and management analysts to design and implement a new role-based security model, and automated the assignment of over 100 new security roles to 400+ users without error. From 2018 to 2019, Michael was the Head Mentor for Computer Science at Western Washington University. In this role, they managed 4-6 other student mentors to help students with their homework assignments and labs, communicated reoccurring issues and solutions to both mentors and students to maximize time and efficiency, and analyzed and debugged students' code written in a variety of languages such as C, Java, and Python.
