Alisa Murray

Alisa Murray is an accomplished sales leader with extensive experience in the biotech and biomedical sectors. Currently serving as Sales Director - Detection at Tecan since October 2019, Alisa oversees the Detection sales organization. Prior to this role, Alisa held various positions at LI-COR Biosciences from August 2002 to September 2018, culminating in the role of Director of Global Sales, where responsibilities included directing worldwide sales and managing a team of Sales Directors and Managers along with 28 distribution partners. Alisa's earlier roles in sales management included Director of Sales, National Sales Manager, and Regional Sales Manager, all focusing on accounts within the academic, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and government sectors. Alisa began a career in sales as a Technical Sales Consultant before transitioning from the Centers for Disease Control, where a background in microbiology and assay development was established. Alisa holds an M.S. in Immunology and Molecular Pathogenesis and a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Emory University.
