Andreas Wilhelm

Andreas Wilhelm is the EVP, General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Tecan Group Ltd. at Tecan. Andreas has been with Tecan since 2004, and in their current role, they are responsible for all legal matters relating to the company.

Prior to joining Tecan, Andreas was with Bär & Karrer from 2000 to 2004 as Legal Counsel. During their time there, they specialized in capital market law, corporate finance, M&A, private equity transactions, corporate governance, banking law, and stock exchange regulations.

Before Bär & Karrer, Andreas was with GHR Rechtsanwälte AG from 1997 to 1999 as Legal Counsel. During their time there, they specialized in litigation, employment law, debt collection, and bankruptcy proceedings.

Andreas Wilhelm has a Master of Laws from Boston University in the fields of intellectual properties, securities regulations, and international business transactions. Andreas is also an attorney at law from the University of Bern in the field of law.

Andreas Wilhelm works with Klaus Lun - EVP, Head of the Life Sciences Business division, Ingrid Pürgstaller - Chief People Officer, and Wael Yared - EVP, CTO & Head of R&D. Andreas Wilhelm reports to Achim Von Leoprechting, CEO.
