Ankit Jain is currently an Associate Scientist at Tecan, starting in October 2023. Previously, Ankit served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich from January 2018 to November 2023, focusing on the novel applications of absorbance and fluorescence-activated droplet sorting platforms for enzyme engineering and immune-cell screening, while also simplifying droplet manipulation methods. Ankit completed a PhD in Bioengineering at ETH Zürich from January 2018 to February 2023, specializing in droplet-based microfluidic systems. Prior experience includes a role as a Hardware Engineer at Juniper Networks from August 2013 to August 2015 and as a Student Intern at the same company from January 2013 to June 2013, alongside an internship as an Application Engineer Intern at National Instruments in June 2012. Ankit holds a Master's Degree in Micro- and Nanosystems from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad.
