Ewa Malc

Ewa Malc has extensive experience in biotechnology and application support, currently serving as a Senior Application Specialist at Tecan since February 2021, after progressing from an Application Specialist role. Prior to this, Ewa worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for over a decade, initially as a Research Associate in the High Throughput Sequencing Facility, where responsibilities included managing a fleet of Liquid Handling Robots and designing library preparation for sequencing platforms, and later as a Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on sample preparation and whole genome sequencing data analysis. Ewa's early career includes positions as a Research Assistant and a PhD student at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS. Ewa holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Programming, both from the University of Warsaw.
