Greg Thompson

Greg Thompson is an experienced leader in project management and engineering with a robust background in the medical device, communications, industrial/commercial, and aerospace defense industries. Currently serving as Head of Labwerx at Tecan since June 2020, Greg previously held various leadership roles at Plexus Corp. from 2007 to 2020, including Director of Project Management and Director of Engineering, where responsibilities included overseeing product development, fostering team collaboration, and mentoring engineers. Prior experience includes Senior Manager of Systems Engineering at NIDEC Elesys North Americas Corporation and Assistant Vice President at Wang Electro-Opto Corporation. Greg holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
