Keala Johnson

Keala Johnson is a Technical Product Support Manager at Tecan, utilizing extensive knowledge in liquid handling, robotics, and laboratory automation to provide support for various products. In this role since June 2021, Keala conducts hardware and software failure investigations, leads customer conference calls, analyzes failure trends, and collaborates with engineers to enhance manufacturing processes. Prior to Tecan, Keala served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Santa Clara University, assisting students in laboratory settings. Keala also participated in a fellowship with Engineering World Health, creating a low-cost rehabilitation device, and held multiple positions at Santa Clara University, including development of a wearable sensor for emotion monitoring and serving as a Global Fellow at the Leavey School of Business. Keala earned a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
