Rick Chapman

Rick Chapman has extensive experience in the fields of research science and field service engineering. Currently serving as a Field Service Engineer at Tecan since November 2014, Rick specializes in installations, service, preventive maintenance, and training. Concurrently, Rick has held the position of Senior Research Scientist at TransTech Pharma since November 2003, focusing on LC-MS/MS analysis of bioanalytical samples, metabolic stability studies, and coordination of outsourced sample analysis. Prior roles include a Scientist at TransTech Pharma with hands-on experience in plasma and tissue analysis and a Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline, where Rick developed automated high throughput screening systems. Earlier experience includes serving as a Laboratory Manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, overseeing laboratory operations and training students in molecular biology techniques. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from Penn State University.
