Sam Chao

Sam Chao is a highly experienced technical professional with a strong background in both technical support and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Support and Training Specialist at Tecan since December 2022, Sam previously held the position of Senior Field Service Engineer at IsoPlexis from June 2021 to December 2022. Earlier in a long tenure at Tecan from June 2000 to June 2021, Sam occupied roles including Senior Field Automation Engineer and Product Development Test Engineer. Starting a career at Headway Technologies as a Process and Manufacturing Engineer from April 1997 to June 2000, and as a Co-op Engineer at Intel Corporation in 1996, Sam possesses a robust foundation in engineering principles, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
