Simon Eckard

Simon Eckard is a Senior System Engineer at Tecan since April 2019, where responsibilities include requirements engineering, system architecture, and configuration management, culminating in the successful launch of a complex project. Prior to this, Simon served as a Systems Engineer, leading multi-year projects with hardware and software integrations. In earlier roles, Simon worked at VBG as Bereichsleiter Studium, managing the Students' Ministry and developing organizational processes, and held various positions at Tecan Schweiz AG focusing on project management and laboratory automation. Simon's career began with innovation at Tecan Trading AG and academic research as a Post-Doc at the University of Zurich, following a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Konstanz.
