Sven Gottschalk

Sven Gottschalk is a Field Automation Specialist at Tecan since March 2019 and has extensive experience in biomedical applications, particularly in optoacoustic imaging and neuroimaging. Prior to Tecan, Sven served as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow, Cooperation and Project Manager, and Lab Manager at HelmholtzZentrum München, developing novel imaging probes and contrast agents. Sven's postdoctoral research at Max Planck Institutes Tübingen focused on the development of contrast agents for magnetic resonance imaging, with an emphasis on neuroimaging and diabetes diagnosis. Additionally, Sven worked at CHUM - Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal on metabolic and molecular analyses during hepatocellular apoptosis as part of a DFG scholarship. Education includes a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry/Biology and a Diplom-Chemiker in Chemistry, both from the University of Bremen.
