Wolfgang Boos

Wolfgang Boos is an experienced technology professional currently serving as Program Manager Digitalization at Tecan since April 2020. In this role, Wolfgang focuses on the conceptual development of Tecan's digitalization strategy. Prior to Tecan, Wolfgang held various positions at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc. from March 2007 to March 2020, including Digital Solutions Manager, where the emphasis was on creating innovative digital solutions utilizing Cloud, Industry 4.0, IIoT, data analytics, and enterprise architectures. Additionally, Wolfgang has experience as Manager Software Development/System Architect R&D, aiming to support teams in achieving exceptional performance by facilitating stakeholder alignment and fostering a positive work environment. Earlier career roles include Software Architect/Team Leader at Imaging Solutions AG and Software Developer at Gretag Imaging and FZ Jülich, where foundational skills in software development and leadership were developed. Wolfgang Boos holds a Dipl-Ing FH in Technical Computer Science from FH Flensburg, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
