Doug Baker

Doug Baker has been working in the engineering industry since 1995. Doug started as the Owner of MANAGE Inc. in 1995 and then moved on to become the Founder of TECAT Engineering Inc. in 1997. In 2000, they founded NexTier Diesel Engines and then served as a Consultant for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers in 2010. Since 2011, they have been the Founder & CTO of TECAT Performance Systems.

Doug Baker obtained a BS in General Engineering from Eastern Illinois University between 1981 and 1985. Doug then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering (1985-1987), an MS in Mechanical Engineering (1987-1991), and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (1991-1995).
