Kryssie Smith has dedicated nearly 15 years to the field of education, primarily as an elementary classroom teacher who integrated STEM concepts into her curriculum. In 2015, Kryssie became involved with TECH CORPS, which sparked a passion for enhancing students' technology opportunities. From 2017, Kryssie worked as a Professional Development Coordinator for The Teaching & Learning Collaborative while continuing in the classroom. Kryssie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Heidelberg University and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Bowling Green State University. In 2020, Kryssie was honored with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, recognizing contributions to K-12 STEM education.
