Jaideep Malhotra has served as President. Asia Pacific and Global Computing Components since December 2018. In this role. he is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations in the Asia Pacific region. as well as leading our Global Computing Components (GCC). a specialized solutions business. In 2017. Jaideep was appointed President. GCC. upon Tech acquisition of Technology Solutions. Prior to this. he served as Global President of Avnet Global Computing Components. Jaideep also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Avnet Technology Solutions India and Avnet Global Computing Components in Asia Pacific. He was instrumental in Avnet's acquisition and integration of a leading enterprise solutions systems integrator and services company and led its expansion into enterprise solutions distribution in India. In 2016. Jaideep received the prestigious Avnet CEO Award for excellence in leadership and strategic execution of the global business. In 2005. he received Avnets prestigious Chairman's Award for outstanding contribution toward the growth of Avnet Technology Solutions in Asia Pacific. Jaideep holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern university and a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from Bangalore university. India. He is based in Singapore.
