Michael Foley

Michael Foley, PhD, is the Chief Executive Officer of 44 Maple Group, a family-owned portfolio management company specializing in long-term investments in specialty materials. With a robust background in various leadership roles, Foley also serves as Managing Director at Oak Investment Partners, Independent Director at Hypertherm Associates and Tech Etch, and Principal at Magnitude Consulting LLC, providing expertise in corporate governance, M&A advisory, and technology strategy. Previously, Foley held positions including VP/GM at Re:Build Manufacturing and Board Member at Digital Alloys, Inc. and StanChem, Inc. An alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Foley earned a PhD in Polymer Processing, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
