Deeksha Gowda

Deeksha Melugiri Gowda has substantial experience in project management and empowerment initiatives, currently serving as a Project Assistant with UNDP since August 2020 and as an Impact Fellow with the Global Governance Initiative since June 2023. Prior to these roles, Deeksha worked as a Program Associate for the Government of Karnataka, where responsibilities included managing COVID-19 relief operations, and as a Technical Writer at the Centre for Urban Biodiversity Education and Conservation. Initial experience included positions as a Seasonal Sales Associate at Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics and a Student Representative at FUTURE STUDENTS LTD. Deeksha holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Marine Science from the University of Plymouth and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Genetics, and Biotechnology from Jain (Deemed-to-be University).
