Douglas Lloyd

Douglas Lloyd is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in various sectors, particularly in education technology and finance. As Co-Founder and CEO of Macademia since July 2015, Douglas has led the development of award-winning educational programming and interactive learning experiences, including brands like Da Vinci and Azoomee. In addition to this role, Douglas serves as an advisor at Tech Nation, mentoring underrepresented tech founders in fundraising and business development. Douglas is also a member of the Decision Maker Panel for the Bank of England, providing insights into business expectations. Previous leadership positions include Chairman of Recipe Design, Non-Executive Director at Bounty UK Ltd, Senior Managing Director at Centaur Media Plc, and CEO & Co-Founder of VB/Research. Douglas holds a BA in History and English from the University of Exeter and has a foundational education from Eton College.
