Tech New Zealand is Aotearoa New Zealand's united voice for technology.
Guided by purpose and united by technology, we support our members to succeed so that, together, we can build a brighter future for business, people, and planet.

Tech New Zealand is a not-for-profit NGO that includes 16 connected communities. Funded by the tech ecosystem through membership, we are focused on how technology can create a better tomorrow for Aotearoa.

Formerly known as NZTech and the Tech Alliance, we have evolved into Tech New Zealand — a name and brand that reflects the depth, diversity, and shared vision of Aotearoa’s tech ecosystem, and the breadth of our work.

We bring together industry, government, educators, and innovators to drive positive impact across four focus areas:
Growth • People • Planet • Good Tech

Through collaboration, advocacy, and shared purpose, Tech New Zealand helps our ecosystem thrive — creating high-value jobs, accelerating exports, supporting digital inclusion, enabling responsible technology, and building a more prosperous future for all.

Together, we advance Aotearoa through technology.
