Emma Owens

Emma Owens has a diverse background in marketing and has worked in various roles over the years. Emma most recently worked as the Head of Marketing at Northcoders since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at Tech Returners, a company aimed at empowering experienced engineers to return to the tech sector. Before that, Emma was the Head of Marketing at Reason Digital, where they focused on using technology to tackle societal issues. Emma also served as the Marketing Manager at Positive Impact Events, where they provided education and inspiration for the events industry on operating sustainably. Earlier in their career, Emma worked as the Digital Marketing Manager at Rormix, a music technology start-up, and was involved in social media marketing at roundwaves. Emma started their career as a Visual Merchandising Assistant at Mexx.

Emma Owens attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in International Fashion Marketing. Prior to that, they completed their A Levels in French Language and Literature, Art, and English Literature at Hereford Cathedral School Sixth Form from 2000 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained their GCSEs in various subjects including Geography, Art, English, Maths, Spanish, French, and Dual Science at Hereford Cathedral School during the same period.
