Leah Charles has extensive work experience in various roles.
Leah began their career in 2016 with a one-year internship at Infineon Technologies in Munich, where they worked on maintaining and improving a video streaming demonstration using microcontrollers. Leah also implemented face detection algorithms during this time.
In 2018, Leah joined CPE Lyon for a 100-hour project on inpainting, a technique used to reconstruct images by extrapolating missing parts. Leah studied different publications to understand various inpainting methods.
Leah then returned to Infineon Technologies in 2018 for their final year internship, where they worked on LiDAR data analysis for autonomous driving. Leah researched existing methods and implemented algorithms for object detection, classification, and tracking using MATLAB.
Most recently, Leah joined Tech Soft 3D in 2019 as a Product Owner. Leah'sresponsibilities include defining and prioritizing work to add value to the Hoops Exchange product. Leah collaborates with the Product Manager, engineers, and support team to develop the product vision, create roadmaps, plan releases, and refine backlogs. Leah also engages with customers to understand their workflows, writes acceptance criteria, facilitates refinement ceremonies, and ensures efficient sprint execution.
Leah Charles completed their education at several institutions. From 2015 to 2018, they attended CPE Lyon, where they obtained a degree in Ingénieur en sciences du numérique, Traitement d'image, Modélisation et Informatique. Prior to that, they attended Yildiz Technical University from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc, with a focus on Bachelor of Science. Additionally, Leah has pursued studies at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they obtained a Pre Diploma in Geodesy, and at Technical University of Munich, where they earned a Dipl. Ing. Univ. degree in Surveying engineering, Photogrammetry, and Geodesy. The exact years for their studies at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Technical University of Munich are unknown.
