Tech Toss is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the digital divide by transforming electronic waste into educational opportunities and creative tools. Founded by entertainment industry professionals with experience at major film studios like Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel, and Fox, our team is passionate about upcycling technology to empower students, artists, and underserved communities in Northern California.

We partner with the entertainment industry’s studio system to divert retired electronics, repurposing them into valuable resources for education and the arts. These contributions support our mission of reducing e-waste, fostering technological literacy, and providing access to affordable tech.

Tech Toss offers a variety of services, including:
	•	E-Waste Collection: We accept outdated or unused electronic equipment, ensuring it’s responsibly refurbished or recycled.
	•	Tech Upcycling: Devices are repaired and repurposed for classrooms, after-school programs, and multimedia artists in the North Valley.
	•	Certification Programs: We provide workshops and training in software like Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office to help individuals gain essential skills for creative and technical careers.
	•	Affordable Repair Services: Our repair center makes technology more accessible by offering low-cost solutions to the community.
	•	Community Resale Events: Refurbished electronics are sold at affordable prices, enabling access to quality equipment for low-income families and schools.

At Tech Toss, we believe in giving electronics a second life to inspire the next generation of creators and innovators. By combining environmental sustainability with education and the arts, we’re creating a more connected, creative, and eco-conscious community. Join us in making an impact!
