Joy Peterson

Joy Peterson has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Joy is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Tech9 since 2018. Before that, they worked at InsideSales.com from 2014 to 2018. At InsideSales.com, they held the role of Principal Software Engineer and was responsible for leading a team in designing and implementing a second-generation email engagement tracking platform. Joy also contributed to the development and maintenance of the original email engagement tracking platform. Prior to InsideSales.com, Joy worked at NEWSCYCLE Solutions (formerly Digital Technology International) as a Senior Software Engineer from 2012 to 2014. Their responsibilities included building and maintaining web applications for digital and print editions of newspapers. Joy began their career at Digital Technology International as a Software Engineer in 1998 and gradually took on more responsibilities, including leading a team in migrating databases and developing new functionality for publishing applications. Throughout their career, Joy has demonstrated technical expertise and leadership skills in various software engineering projects and has worked with a range of technologies and frameworks including Java, C#, Go, JavaScript, Typescript, and React.

Joy Peterson earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Dixie State University, where they studied from 1993 to 1995. Following this, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, completing their studies there from 1995 to 1997.
