Jacob A. Shoemake

Jacob A. Shoemake has over eight years of experience in research and laboratory management. In 2021, they began working for TechAccel LLC (Technology Acceleration Partners) as a Laboratory Manager and Research Associate. From 2019-2021, they worked at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in various roles, including Senior Laboratory Technician- Taylor Lab, Laboratory Technician- Taylor Lab, and Laboratory Assistant- Taylor Lab. From 2015-2019, they were a Research Assistant at Purdue University in the Laboratory of Dr. Stephen B. Goodwin. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Missouri from 2013-2015.

Jacob A. Shoemake received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Plant Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2015. Jacob A. then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Botany & Plant Pathology from Purdue University, which they completed in 2018.
