John Uppgren

John Uppgren has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. John started their career in 1990 as a Corporate Sales/System Engineer at NeXT Computer and worked there until 1992. From 1993 to 1999, they joined Gage Marketing Group as the CIO & VP Database and Internet Marketing, where they played a significant role in developing both database and internet services marketing. In 2000, they founded techbarn.com, a company dedicated to building and providing MaaS applications for e-commerce, analytics, fulfillment, and sales promotions. Additionally, they served as a Board Member for the Lakeview Hospital - Health Partners System Board of Directors starting from 2015.

John Uppgren pursued their education with great determination, starting with their undergraduate studies at Brown University. From 1976 to 1980, they attended Brown University and earned an AB degree in BioMedical Ethics. Recognizing their passion for academia, they continued their educational journey at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). From 1981 to 1985, John Uppgren devoted himself to the study of Civil Engineering, Transportation Studies & Logistics, ultimately earning an SM degree from MIT. Through their educational pursuits, John Uppgren has demonstrated a diverse academic background and a strong commitment to expanding their knowledge in multiple fields.
