MANUELE MONTI, PhD

Manuele Monti, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the energy industry. MANUELE is currently the CEO & Founder of Techbricks srl, a position they have held since August 2018. Additionally, they are responsible for the Renewable Energy Communities working group at ARTE Associazione Reseller e Trader dell'Energia since July 2022.

In 2019, Monti became a Partner at Arcadia Italia. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the Managing Partner of IKBrokers starting from November 2014.

From June 2015 to February 2017, Monti served as the Chief Financial Trading & Risk Officer at IKON Petroleum. Before that, they held various roles at ENGIE, including Italian portfolio Quant Analyst Lead and Head of Risk & Derivatives.

Monti has also worked as an External Lecturer for the Executive MBA program at LUISS Business School from 2012 to 2013.

MANUELE'searlier experiences include being a Short Term Energy Portfolio Manager at Acea Electrabel Trading in 2010 and an HPC Europa2 Fellow at CINECA in 2010, where they utilized high-performance computing for data processing and algorithmic optimization.

Monti began their career as a Quantitative Researcher at the University of Leicester's Centre for Mathematical Modelling and Simulation, where they held a Marie Curie Fellowship from January 2007 to January 2010.

Manuele Monti, PhD has an extensive education history in the field of engineering and entrepreneurship. In 2000, they obtained their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli studi Roma TRE. MANUELE then pursued further education at the University of Leicester from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering with a concentration in Mathematical Modelling and High Performance Computing.

In 2002 and 2003, Manuele attended the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) to enhance their skills in engineering. Later, in 2012, they attended the ARPM bootcamp at New York University to gain knowledge in Advanced Risk Portfolio Management.

Recently, in 2020, Manuele participated in the Entrepreneurship and Venture Finance Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Additionally, they obtained the Oxford Entrepreneurship: Venture Finance Programme certification from the same institution.

Furthermore, Manuele has acquired additional certifications throughout their career. In 2019, they earned the Italian Chartered Innovation Manager certification from the Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico.
