Travis Moore has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. In 2004, they worked as a Phonebank Manager and Get Out the Vote Coordinator for Sen. Minority Leader Tom Daschle. In 2007, they served as a Campaigns Officer for the United Nations Foundation. In 2008, they were a member of the Transition Team for Obama for America. From 2009 to 2015, Travis worked as the Legislative Director for Representative Henry A. Waxman in the U.S. House of Representatives. During this time, they managed the legislative staff and assisted with important political priorities. In 2010, they became involved with The New Leaders Council, serving in various capacities including DC Chapter Advisory Council, Chapter Co-Director, Institute Director, and Entrepreneurship Trainer. Travis also co-founded #CongressToo in 2017, a group aiming to address sexual harassment in Congress, leading to significant reform. Currently, they are a Founder and Executive Director of TechCongress, an organization focused on placing technologists to work with Members of Congress through the Congressional Innovation Fellowship. Additionally, Travis is a Senior Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center since 2020.

Travis Moore's education history includes a Master's degree in Contemporary European Politics from the University of Bath, which they obtained from 2005 to 2006. In the same year, they also pursued a Master's degree at Università degli Studi di Siena and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, although the field of study for these degrees is unknown. Prior to that, Travis completed their undergraduate studies at Miami University from 1998 to 2002, majoring in Marketing and Business Law.
