Sam Taylor

Sam Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2000, Sam worked as a Co-ordinator / Help Desk Assistant at OCS Group UK. Moving on, Sam joined PRUPIM in 2002 as a Property Administrator and then joined Arcadia Group Ltd in 2004 as an Approvals Technician. In 2007, Sam worked as a Receptionist / Shop Assistant at Rinaldo Veterinary Hospital. Sam then joined Derivco in 2008 as a Project Administrator. Between 2009 and 2016, Sam worked at SGS South Africa, first as a Project Administrator, then as an Acting Supervisor: Projects and Planning, and later as a Supervisor: Projects and Planning. In 2017, Sam joined Bytes Systems Integration (Mondi Merebank) as a Project Manager. Sam then returned to Derivco in 2018, initially working as a Problem Analyst and later as a Network Operations Centre - Analyst / Information Technology Coordinator. Currently, Sam is employed at TechConnect IT Solutions as a Project Coordinator, starting in 2023.

Sam Taylor has a diverse education history spanning various fields. In 1994, they obtained a Matric Certificate from Northlands Girls High School. In 2007, they pursued a Diploma in Project Management from Varsity College. In 2018, they obtained an ITIL Foundation Certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice and also completed an Agile Certification from Udemy.

In 2019, Sam obtained the Certified Scrum Master designation from Scrum Alliance and embarked on a Microsoft Power BI course titled "Up & Running With Power BI Desktop" offered by Mavern Analytics. They also completed two LinkedIn Learning courses in 2020, namely "Power BI: Dashboards for Beginners" and "Power BI Quick Tips," both focused on Data Analytics.

In 2022, Sam pursued the "Certificate - Mastering Business Analysis" course from PM.Ideas, specializing in Information Technology. They later engaged in training offered by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission in 2023, completing the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.

Throughout their educational journey, Sam acquired additional certifications, including "ITIL Foundation Certification" from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2018 and "Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®)" from Scrum Alliance in 2019. They also obtained several LinkedIn certifications, such as "People Analytics" in December 2022, "Strategic Thinking" in October 2021, "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging" in September 2021, and "Fostering Belonging as a Leader" in June 2021.
