Mike McEachern

Mike Mceachern is the current Partner of Finance & Operations at TechCXO. Mike has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to their current position, Mike was the Executive Vice President and CFO of Brainshark Inc from January 2000 to December 2017.

As a member of the founding management team, Mike was responsible for creating and scaling the company's financial and human capital infrastructure. This included cash management, forecasting, annual budget planning, strategic planning, sales forecasting and talent management. In addition, Mike raised $23 million in venture capital equity funding and $10 million in debt facilities to fund initial infrastructure growth and ongoing working capital requirements.

Under Mike's leadership, the company grew revenue at 30% CAGR and was able to achieve cash profitability within 6 years of startup. Mike worked closely with the CEO to present the company's strategy and financing at investment banking conferences and one-on-one meetings with venture capital and private equity investors. Additionally, Mike negotiated corporate office facility leases and oversaw the lease, design and construction of the company's headquarters in Waltham, MA.

In preparation for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Mike developed internal control processes and procedures. Mike also managed in-house and outside counsel on operating, contractual, employment and corporate governance issues.

Mike Mceachern received their B.S. in Accounting from Marquette University, followed by an MBA in Finance from the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Mike then completed the Strategic Financial Leadership Program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Mike Mceachern is also a Licensed Certified Public Accountant, having received their certification from the Masschusetts Board of Public Accountancy.
