Benjamin Black

Benjamin Black has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Benjamin is currently working as a Software Engineer at Techcyte since 2022. Prior to that, Benjamin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Accendero Software, Inc. from 2021 to 2022, where they led a team in a large effort to refactor a full stack assay storage and reporting system. Benjamin also developed a library to allow molecular analysis workflow command line tools to be accessed via python and a web service API.

Before joining Accendero, Benjamin worked as a Software Engineer at Swarm Labs from 2020 to 2021. During this time, they played a crucial role in designing and implementing PettingZoo, a Multi-Agent environment library for Reinforcement Learning. Benjamin was responsible for code review, debugging, maintaining tests, and driving API design changes.
