Nathan Bell

Nathan Bell's work experience begins with their role as a Senior Programmer/Analyst at Exelis in 2012, where they served as a core member of a multi-million dollar Payroll-HCM implementation project and led a systems integrations validation team. From October 2012 to August 2013, they worked as an Enterprise Applications Co-op at Exelis. In 2014, Nathan joined Harris Corporation as a Senior Programmer/Analyst until February 2016. Following that, they worked at Ash Brokerage from February 2016 to January 2020 as a Senior Developer. At Ash Brokerage, they were responsible for developing and maintaining K2 workflow engine, .NET MVC/API codebase, Bootstrap/jQuery web front end, and SQL tables, stored procedures, and views. Nathan also played a key role in retiring a legacy desktop app and integrating new API systems. Nathan's most recent work experience is as a Software Developer IV at Techficient since January 2020. In this role, they are involved in transforming the insurance space through the development of case management tools and analytics that empower distribution and carriers.

Nathan Bell obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Indiana University Bloomington in the years 2004 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Purdue University Fort Wayne from 2013 to 2017. Nathan also obtained two additional certifications: Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals from Microsoft in November 2022 and Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in March 2021.
