Brian O'Connor

Brian O'Connor has over 30 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Their career began in 1987 at Plexcom, Inc. as the Operations and Support Manager. In 1999, they moved to ACT Networks / Clarent / iVox Networks as the VP Customer Support. Brian then moved to Altrio Communications in 2002 as the Technical Support Manager. In 2006, they joined MRV Communications as a Systems Engineer. In 2017, they transitioned to ADVA Optical Networking as a Senior Network Engineer. Most recently, they joined Techgardens in 2019 as a Senior Optical & Network Transport Engineer.

Brian O'Connor attended Pierce College from 1979 to 1983, where they earned an Associate of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology. Brian also obtained a Metro Ethernet Forum Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional certification from Ethernet Academy.
