Alex Oh

Alex Oh serves as the Executive Director & Assistant General Counsel of Innovation Law at Bristol Myers Squibb since October 2024. Additionally, Alex is a Charter Member of The L Suite, an exclusive community for General Counsels. Previous roles include Vice President of Intellectual Property and Associate General Counsel at Dynavax Technologies and Vice President of Legal & Intellectual Property at Visus Therapeutics, among others. Alex's early career included positions such as Senior Counsel at Juno Therapeutics and various roles at Stoel Rives LLP, where efforts were focused on the Life Sciences sector. Alex has also contributed to legal education as an Affiliate Instructor of Law at the University of Washington School of Law. Academically, Alex holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from UW School of Medicine and Public Health, and holds undergraduate degrees in Neurobiology and Communication from the University of Washington, along with a winemaking certificate from the University of California, Davis.
