Colin Sturt

Colin Sturt currently serves as General Counsel at Lightmatter, focusing on advancements in light-based technologies for high-performance computing. Sturt is also an Advisor at Silicon Catalyst and a Charter Member of TechGC, an exclusive community for General Counsel to share insights and support one another. Previously, Sturt was the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Dialog Semiconductor, where legal oversight was provided for a public company with significant international presence and revenue. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Corporate Development, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Micrel, where domestic and international acquisitions were led, and as an attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell, advising on various corporate matters. Sturt began a career at National Semiconductor Corp. in operations improvement and organizational design. Educational qualifications include a JD from Columbia Law School and multiple degrees from Brigham Young University in Organizational Behavior, International Studies, and Humanities.
