David Strauss

David Strauss is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Legal at StarCompliance since April 2019, where responsibilities include managing the legal department across various domains such as corporate governance, contracts, M&A, litigation, and data privacy. Strauss has held previous positions including Senior Corporate Counsel at Compass Group North America, Senior Vice President at EyeLock Corporation, and various senior associate roles in law firms, specializing in liability insurance and medical malpractice defense. As a charter member of TechGC since December 2022, Strauss participates in an exclusive community focused on sharing legal best practices. Strauss holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Union College.
