Joe Gonyea

Joe Gonyea is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Snow Software, overseeing global legal affairs, M&A, IPO readiness, corporate governance, and cross-border data transactions. Prior to this role, Joe held positions such as Deputy General Counsel, where responsibilities included SaaS transactions and compliance, and Corporate Counsel at Upland Software, focusing on securities filings and litigation. Joe also maintains a law practice with Gonyea Law, specializing in litigation and corporate matters. In addition, Joe is an Adjunct Professor at South Texas College of Law Houston, teaching trial litigation and advocacy skills, and is a Charter Member of TechGC, a community for General Counsels. Joe holds a Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston and a BA in Government and Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin.
