Jon Kurland serves as the Executive Vice President of Business Affairs and Chief Entertainment Counsel at iHeartMedia since April 2023. Additionally, Jon co-teaches a Media Law course at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, focusing on topics such as defamation, privacy, and copyright. As a member of TechGC, Jon engages with an exclusive community of General Counsels to share insights and support professional growth. Prior to current roles, Jon held various positions, including Senior Corporate Counsel at Amazon for Audible and Media & Entertainment Attorney at multiple firms. Jon earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a summa cum laude B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
