Stephen Lam

Stephen Lam is a seasoned legal and business professional currently serving as Managing Partner and General Counsel at SoftBank Group International since October 2018, with additional roles as Partner and Director. Lam's expertise extends to esteemed organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations as a Term Member since June 2023, and as an Advocacy Committee Member at the Singapore Venture & Private Capital Association starting March 2024. Lam is actively involved in the Asia Society's Young Patron Council since June 2022 and is a Charter Member of TechGC since June 2021. Prior experience includes positions as an Attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, and as a Management Consultant at Monitor Deloitte. Stephen Lam holds a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service focusing on International Politics from Georgetown University. Stephen Lam is also an alumnus of Princeton High School.
