Steve O'Brien

Steve O'Brien is the General Counsel and Head of Compliance at AutoFi, where they oversee all legal and compliance matters, providing strategic input to the executive team and Board of Directors. Prior to this role, O'Brien served as an Associate General Counsel at Lending Club, managing securities transactions and playing a key role in the company's IPO. They have also worked as a Corporate Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Morrison & Foerster LLP, advising on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. In addition to their legal career, O'Brien is an active angel investor in over 50 startups, primarily in the FinTech sector, and is a founding member of The L Suite, a community for Chief Legal Officers. O'Brien earned their law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
