Dan Kim

Dan Kim is the Chief Strategy Officer at TechInsights, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served as the Chief Economist for the CHIPS Program Office at the U.S. Department of Commerce from 2022 to 2025 and as Vice President and Chief Economist at SK hynix from 2021 to 2022. They also held the role of Director of Economic Strategy at Qualcomm and Senior International Economist at the U.S. International Trade Commission between 2018 and 2021. Dan completed their Ph.D. in International and Political Economics at the University of Cambridge, where they also worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate and Chief Editor of the CRP Working Paper Series.
