Gavin Carter

Gavin Carter has a strong work history that spans over two decades. Gavin started their career as an Analyst at United Business Media in 2000 and eventually worked their way up to the role of EVP, UBM Global Trade. At UBM, they were responsible for leading the data businesses and transforming the company into a provider of decision-ready business intelligence.

In 2009, Gavin became the Chief Information Officer at JOC Group Inc., where they later became the Chief Executive Officer. Gavin successfully turned the content and data publisher into a highly desirable subscription information platform and led the sale of the company.

From 2015 to 2016, Gavin served as the Chief Technology Officer at Wyless, a cellular IoT connectivity company. Gavin oversaw the rebasing of the technical infrastructure, transformation of operational delivery, and led the sale of the business.

In 2017, Gavin became the Chief Executive Officer of TechInsights, an authoritative information platform for the semiconductor market. Under their leadership, the company transformed into a recurring revenue business model.

Currently, Gavin is a Non-Executive Director at Charlton Athletic Football Club, where they provide strategic guidance and expertise.
