John Choi

Director of Customer Engagement, Asia at TechInsights

John Choi has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John is currently the Director of Customer Engagement for Asia at TechInsights since June 2022. Previously, they worked at HERE Technologies as a Customer Success Manager, managing critical issues, setting KPIs, and ensuring smooth operations for the global Hyundai account. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Project Manager at Acidaes Solutions Private Limited (Crmnext) in 2020. From 2017 to 2020, John worked as a Senior Service Delivery Manager at SDL plc, where they led project teams, implemented operational efficiencies, managed budgets, and developed new technology and service offerings. Before that, they were an Engagement Project Manager at Cisco Systems from 2012 to 2015, responsible for deploying Cisco services and providing technical support. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at e-motion CA and Quad Dimensions, where they managed various projects in gaming and online applications.

John Choi attended Victoria University of Wellington in 1999-2000, where they studied computer science and psychology. Prior to that, they attended Scots College in 1997-1998, earning a Bursary degree. Before attending Scots College, John attended Northfield Mount Hermon School in 1996-1997. John also attended Ransom Everglades from 1993 to 1995, Tiffin School from 1990 to 1992, Coombe Hill Junior High in 1988-1989, International School of Ouagadougou in 1987-1988, and Kindergarten in 1986-1987.
