Mauricio Baron has extensive experience in project planning and control within the mining, oil and gas, and steel industries. Currently serving as Jefe de Planificación y Control de Proyectos for Techint Ingeniería y Construcción since May 2016, Mauricio has overseen significant projects such as Quebrada Blanca 2 for Teck and Fortin de Piedra for Tecpetrol. Previous roles at Techint from May 2003 to December 2015 include leadership positions for major projects like the Gasoducto Los Ramones 2 Norte and Pascua Lama. Mauricio holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, earned between 1995 and 2002.
