Melissa Kesterson

Melissa Kesterson is a skilled Research Scientist with extensive experience in microbiology and laboratory techniques. At TECHLAB, Inc. since July 2019, Melissa has been an integral member of the microbiology team, working with various BSL 2 pathogens. Previous roles include Cardiac Monitor Tech at Carilion Clinic from November 2007 to August 2018 and various positions at Radford University, including Teacher Assistant for Microbiology and Biology of Health Sciences, where responsibilities included media preparation and bacterial cultivation. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Microbiology and Cell Structure from the University of Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from Jefferson College of Health Sciences, and a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Radford University. Additionally, Melissa has an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Virginia Western Community College.
