Sandro Odak

Sandro Odak is a communications professional with extensive experience in the gaming and media industries. Currently serving as the Global PR Lead at Techland since April 2024, Sandro previously held the position of Communications Lead for Xbox DACH at Microsoft from April 2019 to March 2024, where responsibilities included orchestrating agency teams and co-leading major events such as gamescom 2021. Prior to Microsoft, Sandro was the Head of GameStar.de at Webedia, consolidating numerous editorial departments and leading a team of award-winning journalists. Additionally, Sandro rebuilt IGN Deutschland after its licensing by Webedia, creating a collaborative team environment. Early career experience includes editorial roles at Computec Media GmbH and freelance writing for notable publications such as SPIEGEL ONLINE and ZEIT. Sandro holds an education in FOS/BOS Technik München.
