Xiaofei Chen

Xiaofei Chen is a Data Scientist at Pathnostics since October 2023, with previous experience as a Research Scientist and Data Scientist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist from 2014 to 2019. At Atrium Health, Xiaofei Chen conducted investigations into molecular mechanisms of radiation resistance in head and neck cancer, explored the role of EGFR signaling in Chlamydia trachomatis development, and characterized novel mitochondrial probes for imaging purposes. Earlier, as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University from 2007 to 2013, Xiaofei Chen studied the function of the TMEFF2 protein in prostate cancer and identified key mechanisms influencing cell migration. Xiaofei Chen holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The Brody School of Medicine and a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
