Xiaoping Chen

Xiaoping Chen is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in polymer science and machine learning. Currently volunteering in the machine learning domain at Techlent since September 2022, Xiaoping has been a Principal Scientist at Huntsman Corporation since February 2019, where responsibilities include leading project management, synthesis, process development, and new product development, particularly in epoxy and carbon fiber composites. Previously, as a Senior Scientist at Ariste Medical from October 2013 to February 2019, Xiaoping focused on polymer synthesis and product development. Academic background includes a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the University of Cincinnati, where innovative research was conducted on heparin mimic materials and hydrogels, alongside earlier experience as a Senior Synthetic Scientist at WuXi AppTec.
