Yinping Guo

Yinping Guo is a data scientist with extensive experience in healthcare and microbiology. Currently employed at Cox Communications since March 2023, Yinping previously worked at the University of Georgia from January 2015 to January 2023, where significant contributions included developing a detection engine for early breast cancer detection, identifying seven biomarkers, and ultimately reducing false negative rates by 90%. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral research associate position at the University of Florida from August 2007 to June 2014, focusing on Salmonella virulence, and early research on the virulence mechanisms of the citrus canker pathogen. Yinping holds a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology, a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Florida, and a Master of Science in Microbiology from the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
