Qasim Javed

Qasim Javed has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Qasim is currently the Senior Vice President, Financial Services Practice at Techlogix, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of the Financial Services Practice at Techlogix for 3 and a half years, where they led the Vertical Head of the Financial Services Practice. Qasim has worked in various positions and roles within Pakistan and internationally, including China and Dubai.

Before joining Techlogix, Qasim held the role of Director of the Financial Services Practice from 2012 to 2017. Qasim also served as a Senior Manager, where they were responsible for program management implementation and support for a banking solution. Their major responsibilities included overseeing the implementation of core banking solutions, conducting requirement gathering and gap analysis, and managing client relationships.

Prior to their roles at Techlogix, Qasim held positions at KAPS Consulting, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Engineer from 2000 to 2001, and at Lever Brothers as an IT Consultant from 1999 to 2000.

Throughout their career, Qasim has gained extensive experience in the IT industry, particularly in the financial services sector. Their roles have involved implementing core banking solutions, managing projects and programs, and ensuring quality assurance in software implementations.

Qasim Javed completed their education in the field of Computer Science. Qasim began by pursuing a Bachelor's degree (BCS) from the University Of Central Punjab, which they attended from 1996 to 1997. Qasim furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree (MCS) in Computer Science from the same university, from 1998 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Oracle-related fields, including Oracle FLEXCUBE 12 Implementation Specialist from Oracle in February 2014, and Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking 11 Sales Specialist from Oracle in February 2012.
