Techna
Helena Hyams, MHI, is a skilled Research Analyst currently contributing to the Techna Institute and the University Health Network since January 2022. Previous experience includes a role as a Capstone Consultant at Mustimuhw Information Solutions, and as a Project Coordinator for Digital Health Initiatives at Crohn's and Colitis Canada, where responsibilities involved developing digital health solutions for patient symptom management. Helena has also worked as a Camp Director at Jays Care Foundation, focusing on barrier-free programming, and as Director of Tennis at Camp Robin Hood, where inclusivity was prioritized for campers with disabilities. Prior internships with OntarioMD involved organizing administrative tasks and planning professional conferences in health informatics. Helena holds a Master’s degree in Health Informatics from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Health Studies from Queen's University.
